Koh Rong Sanloem is the calmer sister: the long crescent of Saracen Bay, the small village harbor at M'Pai Bay, and no real roads, which is precisely its charm. Days move at swimming pace.
Supply here is deliberately thin and fragile, so our pace is deliberate too. We are scouting a small number of beachfront and hillside sites where a vacation home earns its keep without changing what makes the island worth reaching.
